You have two words with some kind of similar or opposite link to each other, then you are given another word and you have to guess its partner.

An example is:
Hand is to Glove
as
Foot is to Sock

Heres a starter. Winner gets to post one:

Left is to Right
as
Right is to

Okie-dokie then!

25 is to 100101
as
42 is to ???

Okay, they aren't words, but it's a puzzle anyway!

Can't be binary, 25 is 11001, and 100101 is 37.
Oh, hang on, 25 is hexadecimal for 37.

In that case, 42 is to 1000010. Thank you, Calculator.

Anagrams are to This Game
SATs are to ... (I don't really have an answer here and am not suggesting this post as an actual game entering post. I just thougt it amusing that this was considered something of a game when it's more like a painful quizzing instrument and you can find millions of 'test questions' on the internet)

(note to the non-USA-resident audience, the "SAT"s are our college entrance exams, and feature anagrams heavily in the verbal section).

Lol, I got it within 5 minutes of you posting it. I thought I would get to post one, but as silver posted one first, I bags the next one.

I prefer the Freudian version of this game, where the answer to every question is 'your mother'.

And that's sent me off on a different track:

Belt is to Yo Momma as
Equator is to ....?

I just like it when there's no obvious correct answer, and seeing what people come up with:

Trout to Umbrella

is as

Tuna to what?

Dang, if you'd reversed them it would have been easy.

As it is, I'm going to have to go with "Running fast and staying under awnings".

Don't you mean analogies? Anagrams are where you rearange the letters in a word or phrase to form a new word or phrase, like 'Dormitory' = 'Dirty Room'.

Zero? (Ninety is 30 modulo 60, and 60 is zero. Or, 90 minutes is an hour and 30, while 60 minutes is an hour and 0 minutes).

me again. i'm a little stupid about the hot weather :D

i think that my request was not good. the unintended simple calculation brings the result too. so i solve it:

twenty is the correct suggested answer. ninety (my fault too to forget the e!) is to thirty like sixty to twenty because this are the play times and extra play times of football and handball.

i would say that Chris is the next.

and if i get a second chance i will prepair my guess more carefully. :yes
