Style changes the graphics that are used for the walls, floors, etc. It is the difference between this, this and this.

However, if you only have the demo version you can only see one style, and I think that might be why nothing is changing for you.

Answer One: They change the looks of everything. "Foundataion" is sort of purply and is ment to look like someone's basement. "Deep Spaces is supposed to look brownish and has a more natural rock feel. "Ice Works" is blue and looks like your in a refridgerator.

Answer Two: You most likely have the demo version of the game. That comes with only one style, "Foundation", and three levels of the story, right?

Well I don't think I've found anything that's a better value than this game - worth every penny, and then that much fifteen times again. I would HIGHLY recommend the full version!
