All of a sudden I have "Goblin" status beside my posts ( I was a "roachling" I think). Can anyone explain how that came about and what it means? Thanks.

Congratulations!

You have discovered the ranking system of this forum
It has to do with the number of rank points that you gather by making valuable/nice/funny posts on the forum (as deemed by us, your fellow forum members) You can moderate posts (There, I gave you a rank pint by moderating your starting post as a 'Good') post.

Somewhere there is a topic explaining the details, including the ranks you can achieve, but basically you can spend your mod points (without losing your own ranking) to reward or mildly punish posts on the forum.

Whatever you do now, avoid the sword... and never, ever, ever stand in that spot between food and wall when the sword is pointing diagonally away from the wall. It's a very confusing situation indeed! Oh, and avoid corridors if there are any others like you around. In fact, avoid others like you - they'll drive you crazy.

I did read the FAQ back in Feb, before I joined, but there was just so much to take in about this amazing game that my poor old brain couldn't hold on to all of it. I'll go back to the FAQs and read up on rank. (Got to know who to salute here, you know )
