×The orb just below the eastern column of three doors in Halph's area toggles the grid under the tar you can't get to, which will prevent it growing. That buys you some time, but not forever (if the tar mothers create more than 4 babies in their corridor, you're stuffed too).

×If you time Halph's runs perfectly, you can get him to kill the snake, then run up and kill the tar mothers on the last possible move before an unreachable baby is formed.

1) export your player file from your current DROD game and make a list of all the holds that you have imported/downloaded.
2) Download DROD 5 demo version here
3) run the install file
4) create an install dude (temporary) player
5) connect to caravelnet (if possible)
6) download/import all your holds you had on your list
7) import your player file
8) delete the temporary player
9) play DROD upgrated
