Welcome to the brand-new Deadly Rooms of Death community website! Formerly known as DROD.net, this website has overgone some drastic changes that will not only make it a bit easier to navigate, but will allow us to put more content on the site. And, of course, new content is always better in the long run, isn't it?

As Chief Editor of this site, I, Matt Curtis, along with a cast of others, are here to give you all the information you could ever want about DROD. We have everything down here, from information to help you understand both the game and the world the game takes place in to articles that will help you get the most out of the game.

If this is your first experience at Café DROD, dollars to donuts you're wondering what all the fuss is about. In that case, I'd recommend "What is DROD?", followed by the Story of Beethro, where we learn how the game's main character became famous. From there, the Downloads section should fill you up nicely and give you enough energy to get you started on your first DROD session.

For the budding architect, an article from the Building menu would be more suited to your taste. Those articles cover everything from the creation of a typical DROD room to an intensive guide to the new scripting system. Or, you might be interested in researching elements in more detail. Then, you'd want to look at our Game Elements and freshly completed Monsters à la carte, which included histories, strategies, and other information about everything that you could ever put into a room.

Experienced smitemasters will look hungrily at the collection of Holds we have available for download. Of course, they may be on a bit of a break from the game as well, in which case a heaping serving of DROD-ly information is available, such as detail about Beethro's world, the Eighth, Stories told directly from the Eighth, or an extensive history of Contests that have been archived.

No matter what level of a DROD fan you are, be it a brand new dungeon exterminator or a legendary smitemaster, there's something for you to enjoy here. Grab a booth and a menu, and feel free to dig in! Satisfaction in thirty minutes or the pizza's free!
